SCWO x doTTERA Hope Touch essential oils
As a non-profit organisation, we often say that we cannot do what we do without the support of our community, sponsors and partners. doTERRA Singapore has been a supportive partner of SCWO over the years, by pledging 100% of sales proceeds from the doTERRA Hope Touch essential oil to our Star Shelter and Maintenance Support Central.
On 6 May 2023, doTERRA Singapore invited SCWO to their 8th Anniversary Shine event at Suntec Convention Centre. Visited by close to 800 people, we had the opportunity to share about the services we provide for women and girls that protect, encourage and change their lives.
The Star Shelter serves as a safe temporary refuge for women and their children who are victims of family violence regardless of race, language, creed or religion. Apart from meals and lodging, Star Shelter also aids victims in rebuilding their lives free from violence.
The Maintenance Support Central is a multi-service drop-in centre that provides spousal and/or child maintenance support, legal aid, legal advice, and counselling services.
While SCWO does receive partial funding from the government to help with its operational costs for Star Shelter, it must rely on fundraising projects by SCWO and the goodwill of various individual donors to cover the remaining cost.
