SCWO Holds Second Session of Conversations on Women’s Development

On December 16 2020, the SCWO held the second session of their Conversations on Women’s Development. This session was the second in a series of dialogue and engagement sessions aimed at identifying and resolving issues concerning women in Singapore.

During this session, the participants – many of whom are members of our own member organisations – focused on issues within two key areas: the workplace and the community. The session served to highlight areas of concern within those two categories as well as measures that could be taken to solve them.

It was a fruitful session, and many important points were brought up and discussed.

Also in attendance was Parliamentary Secretary of Ministry for Health Rahayu Mazam. Minister for Law and the Minister for Home Affairs K. Shanmugam also greeted the participants through video message.
