It’s a Wedding Affair: New2U Thrift Shops Very First Wedding Market

8 October 2022 – The air was buzzing with excitement as couples began to arrive at SCWO for the New2U Wedding Market. An event like no other, the New2U Wedding Market featured beautiful and elegant bridal and evening gowns in various styles and designs, multiple selections of veils, intricate Chinese tea ceremony gowns.  These were generously donated to support SCWO’s works that uplift, empower, and motivate women and girls.  

What could only be a sight to imagine unfolded within the walls of SCWO as brides to be walked around excitedly in their top-picked wedding gowns, while examining each and every piece on display to ensure they do not miss out other choices.  Sporting and fun-loving couples had a great time posing and taking videos of themselves at our special photo booth. 

We are thrilled to have hosted this magical event for soon-to-be newlyweds.  We are sure these beautiful brides have found their dream dress while also contributing to the efforts of saving our mother earth by putting pre-loved items to meaningful use.  The wedding dresses and evening gowns will be catalogued and sold on our New2U Thrift Shop Instagram account.
