Change Education, Educate for Change: Tech as a Vector of Inclusion
The Women’s Forum’s yearly regional chapter will be held in Singapore next 19th and 20th of June, at Singapore Management University. More than 500 leaders and high potential talents from business, government, civil society and academic are awaited to discuss and act on gender equality, with a focus on technology as a vector of inclusion.
Similarly to other parts of the world, gender stereotypes remain prevalent in Asia Pacific : 49% believe the male brain is different from the female brain, 51% that men are naturally more ambitious, 43% that gender inequality at work is not really an issue.*
Education plays a key role in the fight against gender stereotypes. The Women’s Forum Singapore will specifically highlight the role of technology and its impact on education and inclusion, within five key sectors: climate, health, future of work, feminist diplomacy and women and money.
During those two days, a community of international leaders will navigate from insightful plenaries to interactive workshops and fire chats, assist to entrepreneurs’ pitches on stage and network. A unique opportunity to foster connections and provide effective inclusive solutions to raise women’s voices and create change.
This event in Singapore follows the success of 2018 and 2019 sessions as well as last year’s meet-up and deepens the Women’s Forum connexion to the region’s ecosystem
