Join the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) as we celebrate 45 years of empowering women and advancing gender equality. Since 1980, SCWO has united over 60 member organisations, representing 600,000 women, with a shared commitment to Equal Space, Equal Voice, Equal Worth.
45 Years of Powering Change
This year’s dinner, themed Powering Change: 45 Years of SCWO, highlights the transformative impact of collective action while fostering partnerships to uplift women and girls. During the evening, we will also honour the latest inductees into the Singapore Women’s Hall of Fame, celebrating trailblazing women who have shaped Singapore as pioneers, role models, and change-makers30
11th Singapore Women’s Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
A highlight of the evening will be the 11th Induction Ceremony of the Singapore Women’s Hall of Fame (SWHF). Since its inception, the Hall of Fame has honoured women from diverse fields who have broken barriers, achieved excellence, and contributed significantly to Singapore’s progress. The 2025 inductees embody the spirit of change and empowerment, and their stories are sure to inspire everyone present.
Empower Change with Your Support
We warmly invite you to be part of this milestone occasion as we aim to raise $350,000 to support women in need and their families and strengthen SCWO’s essential services, programmes and initiatives towards a future where equality becomes a reality for all. Your contribution will directly support SCWO’s vital programmes, including:
Star Shelter: Singapore’s only secular family violence shelter, providing safe accommodation, emotional support, and empowerment programmes. To date, over 2,000 women have been helped.
Maintenance Support Central: Assisting close to 200 women annually with spousal and child maintenance, including free legal clinics and advice. Over 7,000 clients have benefited from this service.
As a registered charity with Institution of a Public Character (IPC) status, SCWO will issue tax deductions of 2.5 times the qualifying donations for all table donations, making your support even more impactful.
