    SCWO Announces its 21st Executive Board

    The Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) held its Electronic 40th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, 27th June 2020 via Zoom. The 21 st Executive Board, elected at this AGM will be serving for the next two years – from 2020 to 2022.     APT Deloitte Networking Dinner

    SCWO, together with Deloitte Japan, was honoured to co-host a networking dinner for the Tokyo delegates from the Acceleration Program Tokyo for Women (APT Women). The APT is a program supported by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government that aims to help women CEOs develop their business for international expansion; create a network of women entrepreneurs and mentors and foster public attention of Japanese female entrepreneurs. Delegates from the program were in Singapore as part of the overseas dispatch portion of the program to widen their reach by connecting with other women entrepreneurs, business partners and corporate supporters.     Star Shelter’s Chinese New Year Lo Hei and Karaoke Night

      The Star Shelter residents celebrated the Lunar New Year with fun and laughter as they sing along to songs during the Chinese New Year Lo Hei and Karaoke Night on 23 February 2018. The celebration started with a Chinese New Year themed pop trivia quiz which the residents excitedly participated in. The winners of the quiz were given a sweet treat for every correct answer. The festivity continued as everyone grabbed a pair of chopsticks to participate in the prosperity toss or Lo Hei.
