SCWO Welcomes New Ordinary Member: Inspiring Girls Singapore
With great delight, we introduce our new member, Inspiring Girls Singapore, chaired by Jacqueline Chua. Inspiring Girls Singapore began as a pilot initiative under the Singapore Council Of Women’s Organisations in 2018. Since 2 July 2022, they will continue to work as an independent charity, focused on introducing the full variety of career options to girls between the ages of 9 to 18 years old, and raising their ambitions and aspirations to achieve and acquire their fullest potential. The Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) held its 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, 25 June 2022, at SCWO Centre. It was heartwarming to see the happy smiling faces of our members, who gathered physically for the AGM for the first time since 2019. Member Spotlight: SBF Singapore Women Entrepreneurs Network
Launched on 21 September 2021, the Singapore Women Entrepreneurs Network (“SG-WEN”) is a network formed by the Singapore Business Federation aimed at bringing together women entrepreneurs in Singapore and connecting them with other women entrepreneurs, business leaders and trade associations in the Asia-Pacific, in particular the ASEAN member states. SG-WEN aims to attract women entrepreneurs in Singapore from diverse industries and sectoral backgrounds to be its members.
