As a non-profit organisation, we often say that we cannot do what we do without the support of our community, sponsors and partners. doTERRA Singapore has been a supportive partner of SCWO over the years, by pledging 100% of sales proceeds from the doTERRA Hope Touch essential oil to our Star Shelter and Maintenance Support Central. On 6 May 2023, doTERRA Singapore invited SCWO to their 8th Anniversary Shine event at Suntec Convention Centre. A Step Forward in Addressing the Gendered Stereotypes in Leadership in Singapore: Kantar Public X SCWO
On 5th May 2023, we organised an Engagement Forum and Workshop with the launch of Singapore’s first-ever findings of gendered leadership within the Reykjavik Index for Leadership 2022 – 2023, in collaboration with global policy advisory firm Kantar Public. Held at NTUC Centre, with gratitude to Ms Yeo Wan Ling, Director of NTUC U SME and Women & Family Unit, the agenda was focused on finding out the current state of perceptions on women’s leadership in Singapore and deliberating on these findings through an interactive discussion with close to 80 women and men who were exclusively invited by SCWO and Kantar Public. As part of the company’s International Women’s Day celebration this year, GE Repair Solutions Singapore Pte Ltd (GRSS)’s Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) Council was looking at doing something meaningful – an activity that could contribute to society, especially for women in need. Upon coming across SCWO’s corporate video, they reached out to SCWO-Star Shelter to understand better how they can provide support and contribute by way of an in-kind donation. GRSS curated 3 types of support kits for the beneficiaries, containing essential groceries, toiletries, and laundry and cleaning products.
